    Certified Nursing Assistant get their license by completing full training course and then, by passing the State certification test. The training programs can be completed in different state-approved schools. The exam is held by State Nurse Aide Registry of that particular state and after passing the exam, certificate is also been given by the State Nurse Aide Registry.     The federal law and the state law mandate the to submit their documentation of citizenship or nationality for their certification renewal. The documentation should demonstrate that an applicant is a United States national or a person described in specific categories, otherwise the applicant will not be eligible for re-certification in any state of United States whether it is Florida, Utah, Arizona or Texas.     Felony Convictions:

    The Board can revoke the certification if the applicant has one or more felony convictions which has not been disclosed to Board and also if the applicant has not received the absolute discharge from the sentences of all the felony convictions. Moreover, if you have been convicted of felony since the date you were certified or recertified then, your application will not be made eligible and procedure for revocation of your license will be executed by the State Board. So, you should be free of criminal records during the period of work.

    Fees:

    Extra convenience fee is charged for online pay. Also, if you request for optional document (wallet size, pink colored paper certificate), total cost may be around $50. You will have to pay fine for working on expired certificate and also be fined if your previous and current addresses don’t match.
