    A Brief Introduction to Nursing Assistant Certification NC

    You should complete the whole course or training program in North Carolina before you can apply for the Certification NC. Note that, the state requires the students to strictly follow the program length and skills required which means you may not be eligible to give exam in NC even if you were to complete courses in San Diego due to insufficient program length and skills required. You will also be required to successfully pass the exam. Also, you will need to submit your fingerprint card to check the state and federal background check. No matter how good you do in the Certified Nursing Assistant Exam, you may not receive your certification NC if you don’t have good standing in state and federal background check.

    According to state law, a class in North Carolina should be approximately of 8-13 weeks in order to gain 75 accredited hours of classes and 100 hours of hands-on practice. After successfully completing whole training and passing exam, you will finally be placed on the North Carolina Nurse Aide Registry.

    Accredited Hours for Certification NC:

    You are required to complete minimum of 75 hours of classroom facilities and 100 of clinical practice regardless of what type of classes you take. You can find classes in vocational schools, community colleges, American Red Cross or different training institutes. There are also online classes available as well as some free classes. However, not all training facilities give you just 75 hours of classroom and 100 hours of clinical facilities some will have more training hours which they think will be enough for students to learn all of the Duties.

    Pre-requisites for Certification NC:

    If you are thinking of taking training programs in NC there are some requirements you have to fulfill. The pre-requisites for courses are passport sized photos, current background check, two fingerprint cards and negative TB test within 6 months with proof of immunization.
